The Man Jesus and the Name Jesus

Good morning beloved brethren in Christ, last week we were able to understand through the revelation of Apostle Paul that blindness is only in part upon the Jews until the fulness of the gentiles come in. We also heard from the very statement of Jesus Christ on how He has left the 99 sheep and has gone in search of one sheep which we identified to be among the gentiles sheep pen.

We also saw His ultimate desire, which is to bring that one sheep together with the 99 so they can become one fold under one Shepard. And finally we noted that this present gentile age will end with the rapture, then Christ will return to the 99 sheep (Jews) and gather them again for their own redemption.

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

(Isaiah 7:14|KJV-

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child,,, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

(Matthew 1:21-23|KJV-

Good friends, it is critical to understand from the above passages that for the purpose of redemption of mankind, God has to come down to us in a human form having flesh and blood and while He will be doing that, a body was prepared for Him in the womb of Mary and He designed a name for Himself for that purpose and that name is Jesus (Saviour). So Jesus is the name of God for the purpose of redemption of mankind.

It important that you understand the move of God, and for everything He is doing starting from creation, He has a special name for that; while He was delivering the Children of Israel, He took the form of a Father (did not manifest physically but remain in the shadow of His Spirit) and His name for that purpose was Jehovah God; when He came to redeem man, He took upon Himself the form of The Son (manifested in flesh and blood in the reality of His Spirit and Humanity) and His name for that purpose is Jesus Christ; on the day the Church was inaugurated (penticost day), He came down again as the Holy Spirit (in the name of Jesus Christ) for the perfecting work of the saint.

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever;, … But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance,,, whatsoever I have said unto you.

(John 14:16,26|KJV-

I want us to understand something here; the comforter whom the Father will send which is the Holy Spirit is coming in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that means that the Holy Spirit too has a name and since He is coming in the name of Jesus, His name too is Jesus Christ because that is His origin.

Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.,,,

(John 14:8-11|KJV

It is very clear that anyone that has seen Jesus Christ has seen the Father because Jesus Christ is one with the Father and because He is one with the Father, the name of the Father for the purpose of redemption is Jesus Christ.

(1063) Let this mind be, in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation,, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

(Philippians 2:5-7|KJV-

Yes, Jesus Christ while on earth was 100% God and 100% man but He never claim any special privileges rather He humbled Himself just to archive that purpose of redemption; He became man just like you and I, He was not really conceived through a natural birth (coming together between a man and woman) because that channel has witnessed corruption from the beginning, so He bypassed that process and was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and was made incarnate in the womb of Mary. He was there until 9 months just like everyone of us, He was born like everyone of us even in a manger, He grew up like everyone of us, He knew pain, tears came out of His eyes, He had family and friends just like everyone of us and walked this earth but never sinned. He died and rose again on the third day to prove that He is God almighty who has the power over life and death.

And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

(Philippians 2:8-11|KJV-

Because of this single achievement which is the redemption of mankind, God placed a premium on that name Jesus Christ, He exalted this particular name of His above every other because salvation came through it and the bible made us to understand that anyone who shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved, that name of the Lord is the name of our God for the purpose of redemption which is Jesus Christ.

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

(Ephesians 3:14-15|KJV-

This name is our family name, for all his belongs to this kingdom of God; it is the name we bear and are recognize with.

And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

(Colossians 3:17|KJV-

And finally brethren, whatsoever you are doing including in prayers and even in water baptism, all is to be done in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ including preaching the gospel. It is only in this name that God can now be found, this is His current address and His last known address; so if any man is looking for God, in Jesus Christ is where He is currently, no need looking for Him at the mountain or at the temple, just find Jesus Christ and you will see God there. God bless you.

Prayers

Most Holy and ever dynamic God, thank you for the gift of Your Son Jesus Christ for by Your manifestation through Him we saw a great light to eternal destination, help us who have entrusted our lives in that name never to be put to shame. For the name of the Lord is a strong tower where the righteous run into and are safe, continue to keep us safe in the hollows of your hands that when You shall appear again in glory, we shall rejoice at your sight through thy Holy name Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
