Prayers of Thanksgiving and Adoration

Good friends, it is a right saying and Worthy of acceptance to always remember God’s faithfulness on man’s behalf and give thanks to Him. Our God despite all our shortcomings and the darts of the enemies from the beginning of this year has continue to love us and watch over our lives. How then can we return our appreciation to Him? We are going to praise His name in the presence of the congregation and tell of His goodness to all generations. So I invite you this day by the mercies of God to join me as we lift our heart and voice to the Immortal, Invisible the God only wise.

A&M 372

1. Immortal, invisible, God only wise,
in light inaccessible hid from our eyes,
most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of Days,
almighty, victorious, thy great Name we praise.

2. Unresting, unhasting, and silent as light,
nor wanting, nor wasting, thou rulest in might;
thy justice like mountains high soaring above
thy clouds, which are fountains of goodness and love.

3. To all life thou givest, to both great and small;
in all life thou livest, the true life of all;
we blossom and flourish, like leaves on the tree,
then wither and perish; but naught changeth thee.

4. Great Father of glory, pure Father of light,
thine angels adore thee, all veiling their sight;
all laud we would render: O help us to see
’tis only the splendor of light hideth thee.

O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches. So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts. … Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust. Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth. The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.

(Psalms 104:24-25,29-31|KJV-

Faithful God, the unchangeable changer! Unto You that answers Prayers shall all flesh come! For You alone holds the key to our existence, thank you because from generation to generation you remain the same. Thank you for not dealing with us in accordance with our shortcomings, thank You for having loved us and called us by Your name. Thank You for You alone rule in majesty and to Your feet all your foes submit.

Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands: Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious. Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee. All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah. Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men. He turned the sea into dry land: they went through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice in him. He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah. O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard: Which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved. For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. Thou broughtest us into the net; thou laidst affliction upon our loins. Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.

(Psalms 66:1-12|KJV-

Many started the year 2020 with us but were not privileged to see the second half of the year, despite the wave of the pandemic, God in His mercy has preserved our lives for a purpose and the devil will not twart that purpose in Jesus name!

Thank You for You are a good God, no man can do for us what You’ve been doing for us, thank You for the nations and government of the whole world, especially our dear Country Nigeria. Thank You for the church and people everywhere. Thank You for the food we eat and the air we breath. Thank You for those You healed and for good health. Blessed be unto Your Holy name. We cannot say thank You enough for You alone has done exceedingly great things. Hallow be Your name for we pray with Thanksgiving through Jesus Christ our Lord! Amen.
