Seduction: Liberty and Liberalism

The truth is that it’s only the sick that needs a physician, but the message of the cross which is the power of God unto salvation is not made only for the sinners. One major opinion which the church has held so dear this days is to think that everyone is save.

Christian Liberty is the boldness we have to approach the throne of grace to receive mercy. It is the liberty we have through the Holy Spirit, to worship God in truth and in Spirit.

Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

(2 Corinthians 3:17|KJV-

Christian Liberty is powered by the Spirit of the Lord and not the Liberalism of the law. It is by Liberalism that the doors of the church is steadily open for both sinners and the saved but Christian Liberty demands that sinners regain freedom from every works of darkness while the saved are encouraged to continue with Christ.

Everyone that sing and dance in the church is not saved, salvation is not measured by the enthusiasm of the people towards the preaching of the pastor or the wow of the people at the signs and wonders of the prophet, it is not by how often you attend church or how quiet and conserve you are at the service of God, it is not by soundness of doctrines and fluency in speech, it’s not even by fasting and prayers for all these things are means of trying to be saved by keeping the laws of God.

But may I remind you that nobody will be saved by keeping to the laws of God alone but by the Spirit who gives life, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom from the law. We have in church today alot of people whose main focus is on the law of God. Doing all they can to look spiritual and accepting in the eyes of the people but no personal relationship with the Spirit.

Liberalism will authorize you to sing or dance in church as a sinner and make you think God is asleep or even non existence in the temple. It makes some to feel remorseful only in church and wild outside. But the truth remains that if the Spirit of the Lord is available in the church, no sinner is permitted to go home the same way.
