Eternity by Design
Genesis 2:16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, You may freely eat of every tree of the garden;
Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and blessing and calamity you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.
So many has wondered why God out of His Omnipotent nature has to do such a bargain with man. The truth is that Man is a mortal being who must live by free will.
The first truth about eternity by design is that where every man will spend eternity will all depend on the decisions he took while on earth. Decisions by proxy is not part of the design neither does it have any effect as to why you should be exonerated from eternity.
Matthew 24:14 And this good news of the kingdom (the Gospel) will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then will come the end.
Just as in the garden of Eden, God gave the man guild as to how to determine his eternity; upon his fall, God out of His love sent His only Son Jesus Christ to restore man to default and left him with another guild.
The truth remains that, no man can appear before the judgement throne of God without the knowledge of Jesus Christ. The fact here is not that you believe in Him but that you have heard of Him.
The dividing line will be that those who believe in Him will not perish but have everlasting life while those who do not believe in Him are already condemned unto eternal damnation.
The gospel of Christ kingdom is the Master design which must come to all flesh as a witness that Christ is the way, the truth and the life.
Matthew 24:41 Two women will be grinding at the hand mill; one will be taken and one will be left.
The question is, why were the two not taken? Were they not the same place doing the same thing? The truth is that you might be doing what others are doing, going to church, deceiving people around you but part of the design of eternity is that it is not by doing what others are doing or being where others are, it’s a question of where your heart and mind lies.
You can decide to become a pastor just to make cool cash and become a celebrity, someone else might become a pastor just to save the lost soul; yes you both are pastors but with different aims, we might not know your aims but rapture will do the separation and makes eternity obvious.
Two of you can be colleagues in the office, working in the same department with different motives; everyone decides what his motives should be and that is why one will be taken and the other left.
Last we considered Eternity by desire, the difference is that no matter what your desires are, it can never alter the design of God for eternity, so it’s a question of what have you made up your mind on?
