Two Masters

Eternity by Desires 2

St. John 3:1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
St. John 3:2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.

Remember, two days ago we considered a ruler who probably saw the good in Jesus Christ and demanded what he should do to inherit eternal life. John 18:18.

Today, we will consider another ruler of the Jew known as Nicodemus. This man must have seen the good works of Jesus Christ but unlike the other ruler, he has to approach Christ at night.

Well, it doesn’t matter the time, what matters is the desire you come with, you can decide to come to Jesus today or tomorrow, it’s all your choice, you can decide to come when you are young or when you are old, it’s still your choice but note that this decision must be made while life remains here on earth and since no one knows when he or she will depart this earth, this choice is better made now than never.

For the fact that you are seeing the good works of God around you does not qualify you for eternity, you must take a step to approach the master.

Heaven or hell will not be force on anyone, we all must one day, one way or the other decide where we will spend eternity.

Nicodemus would have just continue with other Jewish leaders to criticize and pretend that he is not seeing the good works of Christ, but he has to sneak his way to Christ by night to discover for himself the way to eternity with Jesus.

Nobody will inherit eternal life by wishing to be there, we all must take a step of boldness and approached Christ to help us for nobody can help himself get to heaven, remember; Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life and no one will come to the Father except through Him.

Anyone, who ends up in hell after what Christ has done for us on the cross has himself to blame. God has earlier placed this choice before us and advised us to choose eternal life, it now depends on one’s desires, heaven or hell cannot be force on anyone, the choice must be made while here on earth.
