Second Week of Prayer: Nigeria Political System Feb. 11, 2019.

Church Hyminal 770

Courage, brother, do not stumble,
Though thy path be dark as night;
There’s a star to guide the humble:
Trust in God and do the right.

Perish policy and cunning,
Perish all that fears the light!
Whether losing, whether winning,
Trust in God and do the right,

Trust no party, sect or faction;
Trust no leaders in the fight;
But in every word or action,
Trust in God and do the right

Trust no lovely forms of passion
Friends might look like Angels bright
Trust no custom, school or fashion;
Trust in God and do the right

Some will hate thee, some will love thee,
Some will flatter, some will slight;
Cease from man, and look above thee:
Trust in God and do the right. Dr. M. Norman, 1857

Good morning good people of Nigeria, it’s a brand new week the Lord has made and we all shall be glad and rejoice in it.

It is no longer news that the 2019 general election commences this Saturday but am glad to let you know that the God of Host has sworn by Himself to arise once again in Nigeria. He has determined to begin His reign in this nation and no power can stand against Him.

All we need to do is to trust in God and do the right. Hold the Lord in one hand and your PVC in the other hand.

Make no excuse on the day of election, if you really have your PVC and within your polling center, go out and vote, if you don’t have please sit back at home and be praying!

Make no mistakes, friends might look like Angels, some will come with policies and cunning words, some will hate you some will love you, some will flatter some will slight, trust no party, set or faction, trust no custom, school or fashion but in your words and action, trust in the Lord and do the Right!

Friends it’s time we cease from men and look above. Let God help us get it right this time. Please all the Lord is saying to us this week is trust in me and do the right! And as we dedicate this week to pray for political activities in Nigeria and ready ourselves to cast our vote, the good Lord will honour his own part of the deal in Jesus name! Amen
Have a Blessed day!
